Meme created by Heart Horse

Many of us are Care Givers and trainers for horses at public facilities. If you are allowed to come out to your facility please follow a few simple practices:

  • 1. Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer if water is not readily available
  • 2. Clean all surfaces that will be touched by others, i.e. stall cleaners, feeders, trainers, etc. (This includes tack that is used by more than one person.)
  • 3. Practice social distancing (6 feet away from others)
  • 4. Try and not run errands when going to your barn. Go from home and back.
  • 5. Wash clothing that may have come in contact with others when returning to the home
  • 6. Keep yourself hydrated. Wear a mask if available, if you have allergies and are coughing or sneezing
  • 7. Wear gloves. Take any work or riding gloves home and disinfect
  • 8. Stay sane and be kind to others you meet who are in the same boat as you.
  • 9. 😍ENJOY YOUR TIME WITH YOUR HORSE!🐴

And thanks to Heart Horse who created the meme!
